How do I install a font for Windows?
Before you install any fonts, make sure that all your applications are closed.
Windows 7:
- Unzip the file that you downloaded. To unzip, right click on the file and choose to "extract" the contents to a folder.
- Right click on the extract font file and choose the option to install the font.
All other versions of Windows:
- Unzip the file that you downloaded. To unzip, right click on the file and choose to "extract" the contents to a folder.
- You should find the .ttf font file(s) inside the folder of the extracted zip file.
- Go to Start > Control Panel
- Double-click the Fonts folder.
- Browse in your hard drive for the fonts you wish to install.
- Select the fonts (.ttf files) that you want to install and drag them into your fonts folder.
How do I install a font for Mac?
Before you install any fonts, make sure that all your applications are closed.
- Extract the .sit file that you downloaded using Stuffit Expander.
- Locate the fonts you want to install inside the extracted sit file.
- Select the fonts that you want to install.
- Locate the System Folder and drag and drop the font files into the Fonts folder.
- If you have the Font Book application, you may wish to install the fonts using Font Book instead.
